For use with carpet and vinyl. The 48" "Hang Over" Aluminum Straight Edge prevents trapped yarns as the straight edge makes floor contact away from the cutting line. This helps assure better seam appearance by preventing short cut (or J-cut) yarns. Corrugated back prevents creeping and allows sliding in a straight line direction. The 48" Hang Over Straight Edge has a 45 degree miter at both ends to permit cutting into corners right-handed, or left-handed. A hang-up hole is provided in one end for storage. Dimensions: 2 3/4" wide and 5/16" thick and have a clear anodized finished.
