For use with carpet and vinyl. The 24" "Hang Over" Aluminum Straight Edge prevents trapped yarns as the straight edge makes floor contact away from the cutting line. This helps assure better seam appearance by preventing short cut (or J-cut) yarns. Corrugated back prevents creeping and allows sliding in a straight line direction. The 24" Hangover Straight Edge has three top dimples for easier sliding of the straight edge using the thumb and index finger and is GREAT for use in doorways. The 24" Hang Over Straight Edge has a 45 degree miter at both ends to permit cutting into corners right-handed, or left-handed. Dimensions: 2 3/4" wide and 5/16" thick and have a clear anodized finished.
