This very comfortable Conventional Wall Trimmer (also called Convention Back Carpet Trimmer) cuts in either direction and has a three position adjustable throat feature for carpets of varying pile height.  Cutting height adjustments are made by using any of seven 1/16" thick shims.  It is not necessary to remove the shims to adjust the throat depth.  The metal handle is vinyl coated for comfort and has five working positions,, including a horizontal position for working under toe plates.  Trimmer is supplied with 20 carpet trimmer blades and a plastic strip for mounting on the stainless steel angled wall runner to prevent wall markings.  (Note:  if used properly, this plastic strip is not needed).  Other steel parts of trimmer are plated for rust prevention.
