This top quality polyester thread is heavily waxed for easy working and won't stretch. The thread is 3-ply, 18 gauge (.027"), has a 40 lob. test strength and a natural beige color. Sold wound on a 4 oz. net weight plastic spool, the thread is approximately 700' long. Spool measures 2 1/2" diameter x 3 1/2" high.
This thread is ideal when sewing carpet seams such as Wiltons, Axminster and Velvets! It is also ideal when repairing Braided Rugs that have split at the seams. Also ideal for use in other carpet repairs when sewing is required.
