This 4" wide stair tool is forged from tough chisel type alloy steel, and is bright nickel plated to resist rust and corrosion.  8" in length and molded with a cushion grip, this stair tool can be used to set the carpet on the pins of tack strip; tuck the carpet into clamp down metal; drive the carpet into the crotch of the stair while installing stairs and tuck the carpet into the gully around a stretch-in installed room.
